Trade Update - AMD
Trade Update - Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Hello Smart Option Sellers! Yesterday we entered a new put-sell trade on AMD. And it looks like we got into it just in time. The markets are rocketing higher this morning in response to news that president Trump and China's Jinping had a good telephone conversation and that they will definitely meet at the G-20 summit at the end of June to discuss the trade situation. That, on top of the possibility of an interest rate cut by the Fed, has the markets jumping for joy. As I type, the Dow Industrials are up 335 points while the S&P 500 is up 34 points and the Nasdaq is up 143 points. That's solid. The move higher is also helping our current put-sell positions to obtain profitability even faster. As far as the new AMD trade, prices went across the tape at both $.25 & $.26 per contract, so we'll take the mark at $.25 per. Here's what we did: Sold (sold-to-open) the AMD October 18, 2019 $18 put options for an official sale price of $.25 per contract as an opening transaction (sold-to-open). If you did not place the trade yesterday and still want to, make sure to work your order "GTC" at no less than $.25 per contract. That's all for now. Continue to hold all other open positions as-is.
