New Trade!
New Trade! Hello Smart Option Sellers! Although the market has had a nice comeback over the last week or so, I'm still a little leery of potential sell-offs. There's been lots of technical damage on the charts, and as I've said recently, the bears may not want to give up so easily. But, when we have such large down-moves, there's always opportunities to take advantage of. I'd hate to miss out on at least some of it. Plus, when markets crater very quickly, it drives up the volatility factor, which pads option prices with extra premium that was not present prior. What does that mean? It means more money in our pockets when we sell put options. That's a good thing! So, we're going to jump into a new trade today. But the caveat here is that I want everyone to play with half of your normal trade size. If you typically trade 10 contracts, then bump it down to 5 contracts. If you usually only trade one contract, then stick with that. I want us to have one foot in the door, but I want to also be aware of more potential selling. It cases like this, it's prudent to pare down your trade size. Hack Cyber Security ETF (HACK) We've played HACK profitably a number of times so far since Smart Option Seller's inception. No reason why we can't go back for more. HACK is an ETF made up of some of the best cyber security stocks in the sector. And I think we all know by now that cyber security is a HUGE deal these days. With more and more companies (and individuals) getting hacked, our personal information is always at stake. Cyber security firms are seeing more attempts, more savvy thieves, and more business come their way due to the nature of this issue. So let's get onboard and hop into a new trade today. Remember, half size only! Here's what you can choose to do: Sell (sell-to-open) the HACK June 21, 2019 $26 put options for a limit sell price of $.25 per contract or higher, GTC, as an opening transaction (sell-to-open). Currently, this put option has a market of $.10 bid/$.35 offer. We'll be putting in a $.25 offer, so there's no guarantee that we will get filled. But, if HACK stock pulls back a bit, I believe the trade will get done. Have some patience on this one if you don't get filled right away. DO NOT sell for anything less than $.25 per contract. With HACK stock currently near $35.20 per share, we're giving ourselves a solid $9 per share cushion which equates to a 25.5% buffer. Here's the current chart. That's all for now. Get those orders in there now and let us know how you do. Continue to hold all other open positions as-is. Contact me here with fills, comments, questions or concerns. Regards,
