Trade Adjustment - Big Lots
Trade Adjustment - Big Lots (BIG) Hello Smart Option Sellers! We currently have a put-sell order on the BIG April 2018 $37.50 puts for a sale price of $.25 per contract or higher. We're going to adjust the strike price today because I don't think we'll be able to get filled in a timely manner on the $37.50 strike. We're going to move up one strike price to the $40 puts. Read the new instructions below: Outright cancel your open order to sell the BIG April 2018 $37.50 put options for $.25 per contract. And replace with the order below: Sell (sell-to-open) the BIG April 2018 $40 put options for a limit sell price of $.25 per contract or higher, GTC, as an opening transaction (sell-to-open). Some of you have written to me that you already sold the $40 put options as your choice for the trade instead of selling the $37.50 puts. That is fine. There's nothing for you to do today. If you haven't sold the $40 puts, then please do so today using the instructions above. Currently, the bid/ask on the $40 put option is $.30 bid/$.45 offer, so we should be able to sell those first few at $.30 per contract and the rest should be able to sell at $.25 per contract if need be. The biggest issue we as put-sellers face today is the ever increasing stock market which just continues to go up unabated without any kind of meaningful pull-back. This puts us in a little harder position with finding the highest quality put-sell trades. My conservative nature always holds out that we will see the big unexpected pull-back, and that is why I pick these very conservative plays. It will help us when that big drop does occur out of the blue. So get those orders in there now and let us know how you do. That's all for now. Continue to contact me here Regards,
