Getting On Board With Warren Buffett

Be Like Warren Buffett

Hello Smart Option Sellers! I have no new trade to discuss today nor any profit-taking. We've been very active over the last two weeks and it's nice to have a quick breather. I wanted to tell everyone about a new report that I just finished writing after weeks of preparation - that is available for purchase on the Smart Option Seller website. We all know who Warren Buffett is and we all know he's probably the most successful investor in modern times. He's been running his hugely successful Berkshire Hathaway fund since the 1960s. Take a look at the chart here since 1995. There's no denying how well Buffett has done. So I wanted to figure out a way to be able to emulate his success and ride his coattails in his investments. At the moment, one of the current ways to follow him is to buy into his Berkshire Hathaway Class A shares (BRK-A), but it'll cost you $266,000 per share to do it! It is the most expensive stock listed on any exchange around the world. And he likes to keep it that way. Luckily for us small investors, Warren Buffett was nice enough to create the Berkshire Hathaway Class B shares (BRK-B) in 1996 as way for the little guy (and gal) to get a stake in his investing prowess. As of today, the BRK-B shares trade at $177 per share. This price point makes it a whole lot easier to follow along with Warren Buffett, although it's still expensive as far as stocks go (in my opinion). My goal was to come up with a way get a stake with Buffett in an easy and effective manner. Sure, we could sell puts on BRK-B, and I've actually done it many times. If it was cheaper, it would meet the criteria for The Smart Option Seller to step into a new put-sell on it. But, the profits are limited to what we sell the put option for. You all know that. Nothing wrong with it of course, as that's how we make all of our money here at The Smart Option Seller. But I wanted to write about a way that can give investors a chance to have a lot more upside as long as Berkshire keeps moving up - something that Buffett achieves very well. I've written a 24-page report on how to do it and it's called How To Buy Warren Buffett For Pennies On The Dollar. It uses one of the strategies that I recommend in my book. There are publishers that I'm sure who would want me to sell this report with them for up to $59 a pop or more. That's not what I'm about. I've struggled with the fact that maybe I should give the report away for free, but I think the information has too much value (plus my time to put it together) to just give it away, so I've settled on a $10 price tag. You can go here to see more of the description, and to purchase if you want to. No pressure! I plan to add a few more of these reports in the upcoming future (it's good to branch out), and I'm in the midst of writing one right now about the Dogs of The Dow strategy. Stay tuned for that. That's all for today. I continue to look for new trades of course and I may have an unofficial earnings play for us tomorrow. Just waiting to see how the option prices shape up today. Continue to work all other trades as instructed and continue to hold all other open positions as-is. See the Current Portfolio below for current prices & instructions. Quick note on the Current Portfolio - if you are a new subscriber and don't have a position yet on any of our trades, make sure you enter your order at the original recommended sell prices. Do not enter any order at current prices unless it's higher than the official recommendation. If you are unsure or have any questions, please ask us!
