New Trade!
Hello Smart Option Sellers! Time for a new trade. Intel Corp. (INTC) Yes, we just recently closed out a successful trade on Intel back on June 2, 2017 - 26 days ago. There's no reason why we can't do it again. And that's exactly what we're going to do today. If you've been with me since the start of The Smart Option Seller, and even back in The Instant Money Trader days, then you know how we love to sell puts on Intel. Part of the success we have with put-selling is the fact that we can recycle trades over and over and over again. Trading the same high quality stock multiple times over the years is a no-brainer for us. Why not? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. That's our philosophy too - if a stock allows us to execute multiple put-sells successfully, we'll keep doing it. So, we're going back in on Intel today. The stock has come off about $4 per share in the last two months, and based on its chart pattern, it looks like it may be getting close to a bottom for the near term. When I believe stocks are near a bottom and a possible turning point, it makes a great scenario for a put-sell. So with that said, here's what you can choose to do: Sell (sell-to-open) the INTC October 2017 $28 put options for a limit sell price of $.25 per contract or higher, GTC, as an opening transaction (sell-to-open). Currently, this put option has market of $.24 bid/$.28 offer, so I'm pretty confident we can get some sales down at $.25 per. With Intel stock currently at $33.95 per share, we have a decent $6 per share cushion against any further price drops. Although I like to choose strike prices that are about 20%-30% below the current stock price, I'm still confident with this trade even though the $28 strike is only about 17% below the stock price. Remember my advice on placing trades: make sure to look at the current bid/ask price first so you know beforehand where you should offer your trade into the marketplace. Don't sell at the prevailing bid price. Place your order in the middle of the range to give yourself an opportunity to get the best sell price. If no one bites on your offer, you can certainly lower it. Give yourself a chance to get a good price. Do not sell for anything less than $.25 per contract. And remember, we are selling this put option (not buying it!) That's all for now. Get those orders in there and let us know how you do. You can contact us here Regards, Lee Let's Grab That Cash!
