Trade Results - Nike, Inc. (NKE) Hello Smart Option Sellers! We're filled on yesterday's trade adjustment on the new Nike put-sell play. Rarely do I give up on a trade as quickly as I did on the initial $60 put option, as I typically will give it a couple of days if we're not filled right away. Should've stuck with that method as the markets are getting creamed today, and Nike stock is getting whacked for $3 per share. Every day is a learning event. Never think you know it all, because once you do, you get your head handed to you. Anyway, the $62.50 put option traded mostly between $.25 - $.28 per contract yesterday, depending on the time of the day you entered your order. We'll take $.26 per contract as our official mark. Some of you may have done a little better and some may have gotten a touch lower at $.25 per. Obviously if we had waited until today, we could've done a lot better. But hindsight is 20/20. If you didn't place your trade yet, you can still do so at very good prices. Here's what we did: Sold (sold-to-open) the NKE January 18, 2019 $62.50 put options for an official sale price of $.26 per contract as an opening transaction (sold-to-open). Today is a case in point why we sell put options with strike prices with as much cushion as we do - because stocks can sell off at any time. And quite violently too. Using deep out-of-the-money strikes can give us peace of mind and allow cooler heads to prevail. Also, we're playing with extremely high quality stocks, so that's another benefit. With all the markets selling off pretty hard today, double check your open orders as some of our older trades are coming back into play. If you weren't filled on the first go-round, you might be seeing fills today. That's all for now. Continue to hold all other positions as-is. Contact me here Regards,
